Fall Family Night
Join us for the annual Hempfield Township Fall Family Night. Fun for the entire family with a bonfire, horse and carriage ride, pumpkin decorating, apple cider, hot dogs and cookies.
Trunk or Treat
Decorate your car trunk and bring treats to hand out to the kids. Prizes will be awarded for best trunk decorating and costume contest. All cars and "trick or treaters" must register!
Santa in the Park
Join Santa as he transforms the park for the holiday season. Come and enjoy holiday treats, caroling, horse drawn carriage rides and the opportunity to visit with Santa!
Letters from the North Pole
Astonish your child with a letter from Santa Claus this Christmas Season. To have your child receive a letter from Santa, please register for the letter with the child's name that is receiving the letter. If you have multiple children that will be receiving the letter, complete the form for each child.

Egg Stravaganza
Join us for the annual "Egg" Stravaganza when a very special bunny will be hopping through Swede Hill Park to join in an "egg"stra special egg hunt with the children of Hempfield Township. This event is sponsored by the Hempfield Township Board of Supervisors and will include games, egg hunt, prizes, and an appearance by the Easter Bunny. This event is held rain or shine at Swede Hill Park. Be sure to bring your own basket as well as a camera to capture those special moments.
Date with Daddy Dance
Join us for an elegant evening with your daughter as we transform the Athletic Complex for dancing, refreshments, and a memorable time with your daughter. Time passes too quickly so prepare to wear your fanciest outfits and brightest smiles.
- Dress is semi-formal and a photographer will be on hand to take pictures.
- When signing up, please sign up both the father and child(ren).
Kidz Fest
Join us for Kidz Fest at the Hempfield Park Amphitheater. Enjoy fun performances while eating some yummy snacks, jumping on inflatables, getting your face painted, participating in crafts & more!
