1. Are dogs permitted in the parks?

Dogs are welcome in Hempfield Township Parks but must be kept on a leash at all times. This is for your dog’s safety as well as the safety of others. Wildlife inhabits our green-spaces and to keep your pet safe from entanglements with said wildlife, it is in your pet’s best interest to remain on a leash that is in control of a responsible and capable adult. Also, for the enjoyment of our parks by others, please clean up after your dog. Waste bags and receptacles are located in several areas.
