Parks and Recreation Online RegistrationWelcome to the Hempfield Parks & Recreation website. The Hempfield Township Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce that online registration will be available beginning in Winter 2013.

By partnering with Rec1, a web-based solution for online recreation registration management, the department will have access to a cutting-edge membership database tool and registration capabilities.

Support Hempfield ParksUsing this new system, township residents will be able to search and view all classes and programs online in the comfort of their own homes.

Additionally, residents will be able to register for classes, reserve pavilions and other township facilities, as well as complete all necessary forms using their home computers. Rec1 will also enable the Parks and Recreation Department to issue email receipts and confirmations, send text messages about cancellations, and give all registrants access to their program histories. Mail-in and in-person registrations will still be available.

From classes and field trips to special events, Hempfield Parks and Recreation offers a rich variety of activities for all ages. You'll find pre-school activities, exciting programs for children and teens, youth and adult sports programs, as well activities for adults and seniors.

If there was something that you wished we offered, please let us know. Also if you have a special talent or hobby and you would like to offer a class, please complete and submit a New Program Idea form.

Parks & Recreation News


Looking for new events.  The Winter program catalog is now available and covers programs, sports, trips,and special events for the months of January, February, March, and April. The first day of Winter registration for residents is Monday, January 5, 2015 and for non-residents on Monday, January 12, 2015.  Reminder: Residents of Hunker, Manor, New Stanton, and Youngwood are considered non-residents.
