Hempfield Community Days
August 14 and 15, 2010

Hempfield Community Days have once again come and gone. The date was changed for this year but that did not deter the crowd. The weather even held out and we had a perfect sunny weekend.

Thanks, as always, to all of our many sponsors. Without them, the festival would not be possible. Sponsors help the Township to provide the various activities such as The Fabulous Hubcaps and the Kids Zone. Every year we look to gain more sponsors in order to continue to grow the festival. If you would like to be a sponsor, and be an integral part of the event, please call the recreation department for further details.

Growing is just what the festival will do this up-coming year and planning is already underway for next year’s event. Look for it to be bigger and better than it has ever been. Additional kids’ activities, as well as vendors, will be on hand for the community’s enjoyment. If you are a crafter, exhibitor, or would otherwise be interested in participating in the festival, please be looking for additional details in the up-coming months.

Finally, thank you to all who came and enjoyed Hempfield Community Days. The people of Hempfield Township are what makes the festival such a huge success. Your enthusiasm is what drives us to plan events like this and we look forward to another successful Community Days in 2010.
