Clean Up Dog Waste
Pet waste is natural but with our roads and efficient drainage
systems, dog waste has a fairly easy and direct route to our lakes and
streams.
Please remember that the placement and/or collection of animal waste
on public or private property may constitute a hazard to the health and
safety and general welfare of the community. The Township kindly asks
that every resident curb their dog and remove any waste left behind.
Also, please be reminded that your dog may not run at large and if so,
the dog catcher may be called.
Thank you in advance for adhering to these guidelines. Together we
can help to keep Hempfield a safe environment to live and raise your
family, dogs included.
Protect Your Pets
It is unlawful to permit any dog, cat or any other animal in the
nature of a pet to run at large upon any property not belonging to the
owner of such animals.
