Joint Planning for Area Communities
Hempfield Township is cooperating in the joint planning for our area, with the City of Greensburg, Hempfield Township, and Southwest Greensburg Borough. In the future, the people from the three municipalities see themselves as one seamless, thriving community.
Applications & Permits
The Hempfield Township Planning and Zoning Department handles all land development issues within the Township’s boundaries. Individuals seeking to subdivide, develop, or build on property must comply with the approved laws governing land development in Hempfield Township. Applications must be submitted for the following:
